Proper Equipment for Every Piano Type
We use piano-specific moving equipment on every job. No improvising, no shortcuts. The right gear makes the difference between a clean move and a costly repair.
We offer both flat-rate and hourly pricing. Piano moving costs depend on the type of piano, the distance of the move, and any access challenges such as stairs, tight hallways, or narrow driveways. We provide free estimates with no hidden fees as long as you are upfront about the specifics of your job. Call us and we’ll talk through your move.
We recommend booking at least 15 to 30 days ahead. This gives us time to prepare the right equipment for your specific piano type and plan for any access challenges at your property.
Yes. We offer both digital and onsite free estimates. For piano moves, an onsite estimate is particularly useful as it lets us assess the piano type, access routes, and any specific challenges before moving day.
Yes. Most pianos need returning after a move, regardless of how carefully they are handled. Changes in humidity, temperature, and movement affect string tension. We recommend scheduling a tuning with your piano technician a few weeks after the move, once the piano has settled into its new environment.
Pianos require specialist handling and equipment. A general moving crew without piano-specific tools and experience risks damaging the instrument, the floors, and the walls. We handle pianos regularly and bring the right equipment for every type of upright, grand, and baby grand move.
We accept cash, check, and cashier’s checks. Credit card payments are accepted with a 3.5% processing fee.
A piano move done right is one you don’t have to think about twice. The instrument arrives in tune, in one piece, and exactly where you want it.
