Moving to Shoreline, WA? Here's Who We Are

A Consistent, Licensed Team That Knows This Area

Wise Choice Movers is a family-owned moving company with over ten years of experience across King and Snohomish counties. Shoreline sits right in our core service area, and we’ve handled moves throughout this city across a wide range of property types, budgets, and timelines.

Our movers are trained professionals, fully licensed and insured, and we staff every job with the same level of care regardless of how large or small the move looks on paper. There are no temp crews, no last-minute substitutions, and no cutting corners to finish faster.

We Understand What Moving in Shoreline Actually Looks Like

Shoreline is a city with real variety in its housing, and that variety matters when you’re planning a move. The Richmond Beach area in the northwest part of the city has some of the most distinctive properties, including hillside lots with steep driveways and homes that require careful truck positioning just to load safely.

Mid-century ranch homes are common throughout neighborhoods like Briarcrest, Parkwood, and Ridgecrest, and while their single-story layouts can seem straightforward, original hardwood floors, low clearances, and older door configurations often require more attention than they first appear to need.

Aurora Avenue and SR-99 run directly through Shoreline and carry heavy traffic throughout the day, which affects how we route trucks and time arrivals. We also plan around I-5 access points and the traffic buildup near the new Link Light Rail stations at 145th and 185th, which has reshaped commute patterns and added congestion in parts of the city that weren’t previously bottlenecks.

For clients in newer developments and townhome clusters built as part of Shoreline’s recent density push, HOA rules and street parking limitations are factors we address before moving day, not during it.

Our Process Keeps Your Move Organized and On Time

Before anything is scheduled, we have a real conversation with you about the scope of your move. That means the number of rooms, items that need special handling, the physical conditions at both addresses, and your preferred date and time window. We use that information to write a quote that reflects what your move actually requires.

On the day of your move, we arrive on time with the right equipment for the job. Floor runners go down first. Furniture is padded and wrapped before it moves. Fragile items are packed individually and tracked carefully.

Pieces that need to be broken down for transport are reassembled at your new location at no extra charge. We don’t rush in ways that create risk, but we work efficiently so you’re not paying for a drawn-out day. When everything is placed and accounted for, we walk through the space with you before we pack up.
